Abstract of Volunteer Community Service carried out by the VTP director, Madeline Villafañe and some students at “Centro de Control de Animales y Adopción.”
The Veterinary Technology Director, Madeline Villafañe and some students did volunteer community service at “Centro de Control de Animales y Adopción” (Animal Control Center in San Juan, PR 00920).
Thus, as a result of this volunteer work at this shelter, a significant number of stray animals were sterilized during the annual animal sterilization campaign. Hence, because of this collaboration, each of the VTP students who participated were given a “Certificate of Volunteer Work: Animal Sterilization 2021 Campaign.”
